LONDON:(APS)October 20, 2016-The British Parliamentarians, at a seminar on Kashmir in London on Wednesday, urged the UN to send a fact finding mission to Occupied Kashmir at the earliest to get first-hand information about the ongoing human rights violations by the Indian forces.

They also proposed to send a delegation of the British Parliamentarians to Occupied Kashmir to ascertain the situation on ground.

The parliamentarians demanded complete demilitarization of Kashmir, creating an enabling environment for holding free and fair plebiscite to ascertain the wishes of the people of Kashmirs.

The Seminar on Kashmir was arranged by the All Party Parliamentary Group on Pakistan where Prime Minister’s Special Envoys on Kashmir Senator Abdul Qayyum and MNA Qaiser Ahmed Shaikh were keynote speakers.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Qayyum briefed the parliamentarians on the ongoing brutalities committed by the Indian security forces on innocent people of Kashmir.

He called upon UN to fulfil its obligation of holding plebiscite in Kashmir. • Free Website Templates - Downlaod Full Themes
