NEW DELHI (APS)Dec 11,2015 – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday where they discussed important matters including resumption of bilateral ties and cricket series, reported APS News.
In a statement issued by the Indian Prime Minister, Indian Foreign Ministry Spokesman stated Imran Khan met Narendra Modi at the request of the latter. Both leaders welcomed the progress made in the way of Pak-India relations.
Key issues were discussed at the meeting on key views including Pak-India series. Imran Khan also extended an invitation to Modi to visit Pakistan at the occasion. Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the meeting between Khan and Narendra Modi is highly welcome. Matters such as Indo-Pak ties and bilateral cricket series were discussed in length during the meeting which lasted 10 minutes, he said.
