End of Netanyahu’s ministry closes chapter of controversy: Palestinian PM

ISLAMABAD: June 14, 2021-Palestinian Prime Minister Mohamed Ishtia said Monday that the removal of Benjamin Netanyahu as prime minister in Israel has closed one of the “worst periods” in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Ahead of the Palestinian Authority’s weekly cabinet meeting, Mohamed Ashtia said: “The departure of the Israeli Prime Minister after 12 years means that one of the worst periods of the war between Israel and Palestine is over.

However, Mohammad Ishtia also says that He has no misunderstandings about the new government or the possibility of a peace deal with the Palestinians.
