Player Association’s goal should be to protect players: Zaheer Abbas

ISLAMABAD:(APS)November 8, 2016-Former president ICC and leading cricketer Zaheer Abbas said that cricketer chief should be cricketers otherwise will not work. Cricket should understand.

He said that  political interference should eliminated in cricket. Healthy activities are important in youth to constitute healthy society.He speaking to meet the Press organized by National Press Club Islamabad.

He said that players are faceing insecurity in Pakistan.He advised that’s should the player associations like other countries. Player Association’s goal should be to protect players.

Shakeel Anjum president of the National Press Club Islamabad said that we are organizing cricket tournament for journalists.In this context he told Abbas that he play a key role for completion of the tournament.
