ISLAMABAD: January 20, 2022- Merchants of Jinnah Super Islamabad have demanded from Prime Minister Imran Khan and Interior Minister that the deployment of incompetent officers in the Model Traffic Police of the Federal Capital Territory has aggravated the problem of traffic flow in Islamabad.
Merchants of Jinnah Super say that severe traffic jams in Jinnah Super area of the federal capital have left citizens and their families stranded in vehicles for hours.
At Jinnah Supermarket, long queues of public service vehicles for CNG line up at Shell Petrol Pump every evening, due to which locals and foreigners visiting the market face severe difficulties.
Due to the deployment of incompetent officers, traffic jams are common in most parts of the city, especially on the main highway of F-Seven Markaz.
In this regard, the traders said that they have demanded the Prime Minister Imran Khan and Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid to take notice of the criminal negligence of the Islamabad traffic police so that the flow of citizens coming to Jinnah Super would not be disturbed.
