ISLAMABAD:(APS) December 17: Funeral prayers in absentia of Peshawar school martyrs was offered on Wednesday in Islamabad police line headquarters.
It was attended by IGP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan DIG (Headquarters) Khalid Khan Khattak, AIG Sultan Azam Temuri, AIG (Special Branch) Waqar Ahmed Chohan, SSP (Security) Mir Vais Niaz, SSP (Operations) Asmat Ullah Junejo, SP (Headquarters) Rana Tahir Rehman, all SPs, DSPs, officials of district administration, police and mediamen.

The IGP said that school attack in Peshawar was very tragic that took lives of over one hundred children besides staff. He said: “we are equally grieved at this horrific incident and share grief with victim families who lost their beloved children.”
He said personnel of law enforcement agencies had sacrificed their lives in the war against terrorism for long time. IGP said that whole nation is grieved and urged the police officials to use their capabilities to root out the menace of terrorism.
