Islamabad police bags first position in shooting contest


ISLAMABAD:(APS)May 23, 2016- Islamabad Police bagged first position in All Pakistan Martyrs Memorial Shooting Contest held at Sihala.

 According to details, Islamabad police secured ten out of 18 medals and got overall first position.. The participating teams included Islamabad Police, Motorway Police, Gilgit Police, FC, Punjab Police, Sindh Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa  Police, Balochsitan Police and Police Training Center Simly Dam.

 Among other personnel of Islamabad police, lady commandoes also took part in this contest. Lady Constable Fozia Haneef of Islamabad got two gold and one bronze medal while Constable Muhammad Salman got two gold medals.

After this victory, Islamabad police team was given an enthusiastic ovation  at Police Line Headquarters and IGP Islamabad Tariq Masood Yasin appreciated performance of his team.

He said “ I am proud of personnel of my force who achieved great success and won laurel for the force”. The IGP also announced cash prizes and commendation certificates for the players, their instructors and also organizers of this event.
