Former police employee nabbed for killing his adopted son

ISLAMABAD:(APS) April 26, 2016-Islamabad Ramana police station has arrested a former employee of Islamabad police and his wife for killing their adopted son with the assistance of four contract killers, a police spokesman said.

He said that Yunus Chohan resident of Dhok Kashmirian sector G-12 submitted application with Ramana police station on April 6, 2016 about murder of his adopted son, Asjal Chohan, who was found dead at  bed in room of his house.

He further stated that his hands were tied with shirt and body found in pool of blood.

Following his application, the SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani constituted special team headed by SP (Saddar) Bilal Zafar to arrest the killers. This team including DSP Ghulam Muhammad Baqir, SHO Ramana police station Irshad Abro, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Shafique Minhas, ASI Asif Sohail and others worked hard and succeeded to arrest six persons including Yunus Chohan and his wife Sofia Chohan. Four other contract killers have been identified as Ishfaq alias Kalu, Kamran alias Kami, Irfan and Asif Rafique.

 During the preliminary investigation, it was revealed by the Yunus Chohan that he paid Rs. 6,50,000 to contract killers and committed this crime after differences with his adopted son.

Further investigation is underway. SSP Islamabad has appreciated this overall performance and announced cash prizes and commendation certificates for police team.
