Eight outlaws held; 35 liter liquor and weapons seized


ISLAMABAD:(APS)July 15, 2016- Islamabad Police have arrested eight outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered stolen motorbike, 35 litre liquor and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, a team of Karachi Company police nabbed Adnan Masih during patrolling and recovered five liter liquor him. Golra police apprehended Ghulam Shabbir for having 30 bore pistol and 12 bore gun along with ammunition. Kohsar police nabbed Anil Masih and recovered 30 litre liquor from him while another accused Imran was held by Secretariat police for having wine bottle.

Shehzad town police apprehended a bike lifter Ammad and recovered a bike (RIO-9779) from him. Sihala  police recovered 30 bore pistol from an accused identified as Farooq while Loi Bher police arrested Qadeer Sadiq for having 30 bore pistol and 12 bore gun.

Similarly, another accused Tajeer Khan held by Koral police for having 30 bore pistol.  Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons under relevant sections and further investigation is underway from them.

Meanwhile, three professional alm-seekers were also held. SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials for effective policing measures in their respective areas.
