ISLAMABAD:(APS) Shalimar police Islamabad has arrested seven persons for their alleged involvement in immoral activities during raid at a flat in F-11 Markaz, a police spokesman said on Friday.
According to details, SSP Islamabad Asmat Ullah Junejo categorically asked all police officials for strict action against those involved in drug peddling, bootlegging and immoral activities besides vigilance at guest house involved in anti-social acts.
Following his directions, strict policing measures are being ensured in the city against such criminals. On a tip off on Friday regarding immoral activities at 18 AL-Sufa Heights in F-11 Markaz , a special team was constituted by ASP Aamir Niazi to raid there after getting search warrant. Police team headed by SHO Inspector Sajjad Hussain Bukhari including ASI Javed Iqbal and others succeeded to arrest seven persons including five women involved in immoral activities. They have been identified as Farhan, Yaqub, Sana, Laila, Aisha, Zeba and Saira and further investigation is underway from them.
While reviewing this report, SSP Islamabad has directed to ensure effective crackdown against those involved in immoral activities.
