ISLAMABAD:(APS) January 6, 2015: Islamabad police have arrested 16 outlaws including three street criminals from various areas of the city and recovered a, 3. 550 kilogram hashish, weapons, mobile phone, cash and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said here on Tuesday.
According to details, Secretariat police arrested two drug pushers namely Abdul Hameed and Muhammad Hafez and recovered 2. 780 kilogram hashish from their possession. Bahra Kahu police arrested accused Sardar Khan and recovered 520 gram hashish from him. Sabzi Mandi police arrested 3 street criminals namely Nasir Khan, Ehsan and Gul Muhammad and recovered two snatched mobile phone and cash from their possession. Shehzad Town police arrested two encroacher namely Amir Shehzad and Muhammad Jameel.
Koral police arrested two accused Saeed and Tahir and recovered one 30 bore illicit pistol along with ammunition, one dagger and two punches from their possession. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. Furthermore Islamabad police apprehended five professional alms- seekers from various area of the city. SSP Islamabad has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to accelerate their efforts to curb activities of anti-social elements.
