12 outlaws held; weapons recovered


ISLAMABAD:(APS) December 08: Islamabad Police have arrested 12 outlaws including three thieves from various areas of the city and recovered  550 gram hashish, three 30 bore pistols,stolen goods and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Monday.


According to details, Industrial Area police arrested three accused namely Abid Ali s/o Faryad Ali , Abdul Gahfoor s/o Maqbooland Abid Hussain s/o Ashiq Hussain involved in theft case and recovered stolen goods and looted items from their possession. Further investigation is underway. Police team during patrolling also arrested accused Asfand Yar and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from him.


CIA police during patrolling arrested two accused namely Rahat Sher,Masood and recovered 550 gram hashish and one 30 bore  pistol along with ammunition from their possession.Shalimar police recovered a stolen cell phone from an accused Hafeez while Tarnol police arrested Shahid Imran for having  30 bore pistol and ammunition.


Meanwhile, Lohibher police apprehended four people involved in immoral activities. They were identified as Afaq, Atif Amin, Irfan and Alishah bibi. Furthermore, police arrested five professional beggars. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.  Police team arrested 11 suspects during  search operation.


IGP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan and SSP have appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure further effective policing.
