ISLAMABAD:(APS) Islamabad Police have arrested 12 outlaws including seven gamblers from various areas of the city besides recovering two stolen car, laptops, mobiles phones,1.30 kilogram hashish, stake money and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Saturday.
On a tip off, Station House Officer of Koral police station Inspector Jamshad Khan , Assistant Sub Inspector Muqbool along with police team raided at `Ghauri Town ‘ area and arrested Seven gamblers identified as Munair Ahmed, Muhammad Ramzan, Abdul Ghafar, Javid, Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Yaseen and Muhammad Mahakeel. Police team recovered gambling money, mobile phones and tools from their possession.
ACLC Police recovered two stolen cars bearing registration No,LWQ-3285 and LWH-5629 frpm the possession of accused Altaf and Badar Alam.
Secretariat Police arrested accused Shahzad Muhammad Fayyaz and recovered one 30 bore illicit pistols along with 25 bullets from him.
Bhar Kahu police arrested Muhammad Israr and recovered 110 gram heroine from him.
Margalla police arrested bootleggers Yousaf and recovered 30 wine bottles from him.
Ramna police arrested accused Wajhat and recovered stole laptop, mobile phone from him.
Shehzad Town Police arrested a drug pusher namely Yasir Khan and recovered 1.30 kilogram hashish from him. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
SSP Islamabad has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to accelerate their efforts to curb activities of anti-social elements.
