Tribute paid to Veteran Marsiya writer poet Bahar Multani

RAWALPINDI: Prominent scholar and intellectual Dr. Ghazanfar Mehdi has said that terrorism and sectarianism can be abolished by following the teachings and footsteps of Hazrat Imam Hussain. He was addressing at the seminar and Mehfil-e-Masalma on the occasion of 50th death anniversary of Veteran Marsiya writer poet Maulvi Ramzan Bahar Multani at Rawalpindi Arts Council under auspices of literary organization Daira.

He said that poets and intellectuals must highlight the teachings of Hzrat Imam Hussain through poetry and prose on international level. He added Ramzan Bahar Multani has wrote 16 books on same subject which need to be re published because he enjoyed the position of veteran marsiya writer poets in Saraiki language.

Allama Syed Charagh ud Din Shah Bahar Multani was true lover of Holy Prophet (PBUH). His Naats are true inspirations of Holy Prophet (PBUH). Barrister Rubab Mehdi said that Ramzan Bahar Multani in his marsiya represented Indus civilization and Karbala incident was presented in elaborated way. Director RAC Waqar Ahmed was off the view that Bahar Multani enjoyed the same position in Saraiki as Mir Anees in Urdu.

She paid rich tribute to Bahar Multani for his tremoundas literary service in respect of Karbala incident. Dr Murtaza Mughal said poetry of Bahar Multani is known to everybody.

The conference was also addressed by Naeem Akram Qureshi, Allama Azmat Sultan, Allama Saleem Haider, Mazhar Masud, Babu Mushtaq Hussain, Jamil Ahmed Bhatti and Syed Matee ul Hasnain. • Free Website Templates - Downlaod Full Themes
