ISLAMABAD:June16,2021 , Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that the federation had promised Rs 760 billion this year and Rs 147 billion is to be received but it does not seem that the amount will be provided.
Addressing a post-budget press conference in Karachi, he said that Rs 329 billion has been earmarked for tax and non-tax for the next financial year in which SRB would be the biggest source of revenue.
Moreover Sindh budget presented, 20% increase in salary, minimum monthly wage proposed Rs 25,000
He said that Rs 125 billion is expected to be received from Sindh Revenue Board and the target has been set at Rs 150 billion in the next financial year.
He said that this year excise and tax is Rs. 86 billion which will be met as per the target and considering their work, what is the next target of Rs. 120 billion.
Syed Murad Ali Shah said that Rs. 24 billion has been set aside for non-tax while Rs. 45 billion will be borrowed from banks if required.
