LAHORE (APS) OCTOBER 24,2016– The deadlock in PTI-PAT collaboration on Islamabad sit-in has finally come to an end as Pakistan Awami Tehreek leader Tahir-ul-Qadri has accepted the offer of participation in Islamabad sit-in.
According to detais, the contacts between Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek Tahir-ul-Qadri have turned out to be fruitful as the latter say ‘yes’ regards to participation in Nov 2 sit-in.
In a recent telephonic conversation between the two leaders, Imran Khan invited Tahir-ul-Qadri to participate in Islamabad sit-in. PAT leader accepted the invitation to participate in Islamabad sit-in and revealed that the collaboration with PTI on Islamabad sit-in will continue.
Both the leaders also discussed other matters in their telephonic conversation and vowed to work together in future as well.
On the other hand, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri has also revealed in his statement that he has said ‘yes’ over Imran Khan’s invitation of participation in Islamabad sit-in. He let it be known that the strategy would soon be worked out together in this regard.
However, Tahir-ul-Qadri also revealed that it has not been decided as to whether he would personally be present at the sit-in or not.
PAT Chairman commented that the whole nation is united in fight against corruption.
Tahir-ul-Qadri also exclaimed that he couldn’t forget the sacrifices of martyrs till his last breath.
The sources have confirmed that the high level deputation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will meet PAT’s leadership within the next 24 hours in this regard. The delegation from Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s side would be led by Khurram Nawaz Gandapur while Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Chaudhry Sarwar and Jehangir Tareen will participate in these talks on PTI’s behalf.
Both the parties will discuss the upcoming strategies and also matters related to sit-in in these talks. Moreover, the strategy of PAT in the sit-in would be worked out as well.
