Rangers will be called back in case of not extension powers : Chaudhry Nisar Ali


ISLAMABAD:(APS)Dec 6,2015-Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan says Pakistan will extend all possible legal assistance in investigation into California shooting incident.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, he said US administration has exercised a responsible behavior over this incident.

The Minister dispelled reports that US officials had met Prime Minister or Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif during their stay in  London.

He said Islam is religion of peace and teaches lesson of forgiveness and over a mistake of one individual, a whole nation, country or religion should not be blamed.

About the FIR registration of the case of Dr. Imran Farooq, Interior Minister said this is purely judicial process and Judiciary will decide the case.

The Minister said a Joint Investigation Team will be constituted to investigate in the light of FIR.

About issue of Deportees from Greece, he said government took principle stand and despite pressure we received only verified deportees.

Replying to a question, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said crackdown against human traffickers continues and during the last three weeks over three hundred people have been arrested.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan while talking to news persons said that if Sindh Government did not send requisition for extension of powers for Ranger, they will be called back.

He said Rangers will not be left in Karachi without legal protection to them.

The Minister said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit Karachi tomorrow to review law and order situation in the city.
