PTI protest against price hike, increase in electricity bills


LAHORE (APS) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday staged demonstrations against the government for price hike and increase in electricity bills in various cities,APS News reported.


The protesters chanted heavy slogans against the price hike.


PTI led the protest in major cities upon its chairman Imran Khan’s direction.


The protesters raised loud chants against the price hike outside Lahore press club. PTI Punjab General Secretary Yasmin Rashid demanded the government to immediately withdraw the ‘additional burden’ put on the public.


Another demonstration by PTI workers took place outside Peshawar press club which was led by Yasin Khalil and Ayesha Gulalai.


The demonstrators raised loud chants against the government.


PTI staged another demonstration in Multan where PTI members protested against increase in electricity prices.


A large number of PTI workers and supporters turned up in its protest outside Sahiwal press club as well. The demonstrators raised loud chants against the price hike.


Another simultaneous demonstration took place in Vihari where people protested against the government.
