ISLAMABAD:(APS) The Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) on Monday officially announced a protest rally to be held at D-Chowk on October 4 to announce the plan of action for a possible sit-in to pressurise officials from the Election Commission of Pakistan to tender their resignations.
Previously, PTI chief Imran Khan had demanded resignations or ouster of four provincial election commissioners for what he called their failure to hold free and fair elections in 2013.

PTI’s additional secretary information Faisal Javed Khan told Private tv news that the situation seems to be heading towards another sit-in.
During the one-day protest rally, PTI chief Imran Khan is expected to announce a new deadline for the ECP officials to tender their resignations. The plan of action for the possible sit-in will be similar to the party’s crucial rally that took place on November 30 last year.
