President of AJK attend function of Pakistan Sweet Homes

ISLAMABAD:(APS)Dec 12,2015-Pakistan Sweet Homes in collaboration with Dar e Arqam School organized the largest sports festival at Pakistan Sweet Homes sports complex H-9/4 Islamabad. In this sports gala around 1500 kids participated.  This was the largest event held in twin cities. Various recreational activities were arranged for the children. A Taekwondo competition among the children was the highlight of the event where the PSH children exhibited their skills, said a press release.

President Azad Kashmir Sardar Yaqoob was the chief guest of the event. He praised the excellent work of Mr. Zamurrad Khan and promised to join the team of sweet homes as volunteer.In this event Sweet homes kids beat the dar e Arqam team in all the major event. And was awarded as winning team.  On this auspicious moment Pakistan Cricket team ex national player Muhammad Waseem also joined the event.  And said the cricketers have expressed their willingness to join hands with Pakistan Sweet Homes to ensure the provision of basic amenities to the children of Sweet Homes, he said.

At this occasion Patron in Chief Pakistan Sweet Homes Mr. Zamurrad Khan said that he is thankful to team of Dar e Arqam school for joining his cause. Especially thankful to the director Dar e Arqam School Imran Farooq and Mrs. Waseema. Also, he acknowledge the efforts of donors and volunteers of Pakistan Sweet Homes.

Pakistan Sweet Homes (PSH) had been established in different cities.  He said under PSH project, orphan’s hailing from all over the country between ages of 4-6 have been enrolled. They are provided with free food, shelter, boarding facility and quality education in the renowned educational intuitions of the area. So far, over 32 PSH have been established all over Pakistan in which 3600 children are spending life of hope, felicitation and respect, he added.

It was very encouraging that private schools were taking interest in providing recreational opportunities to the poverty-ridden class of the society, he added.
He said all-out efforts were being made to provide modern basic facilities at Pakistan Sweet Homes, yet there was need to make generous contributions to meet future requirements of the children. He said provision of modern education and quality shelter to the poverty-ridden and deserving segment of the society was main purpose of his life and generous contribution of the philanthropists was required to meet the necessities of the children housed in Pakistan Sweet Homes.
