PML-Q chief urges opposition parties to unite against govt

LAHORE (APS) March 21, 2016– Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PMLQ) chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Monday urged the opposition parties to unite against the government in a bid to make slogans of “Go Nawaz Go” successful, APS News reported.

Chaudhry Shujaat earlier today held a telephonic conversation with former military ruler Pervez Musharraf and inquired about his health.

Pervez Musharraf invited him to visit Dubai.

Musharraf left Pakistan last Friday for medical treatment in Dubai after the government lifted a travel ban imposed on him as he awaited trial on treason and other charges.

Supreme Court had ordered the government to lift the travel ban, paving the way for Musharraf to leave.

“I am a commando and I love my homeland,” Musharraf said.

“I will come back in a few weeks or months,” he added.

His lawyers have argued that he needed to travel abroad for medical treatment and to visit his ailing mother in Dubai.
