ISLAMABAD:(APS)Nov 25,2015-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif says there is a lot of scope for the Muslim world to cooperate in the areas of trade and commerce.
He was talking to Secretary General Muslim World League Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsin Alturki in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister said Pakistan enjoys good brotherly relations with all the Muslim countries. He said Pakistan is ready to extend every possible support for collective benefit of the Muslim World League.
Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsin appreciated the vision of the Prime Minister and said Pakistan’s role in promoting cooperation among the members of Muslim World League is of immense importance.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister has asked Planning and Development and Finance divisions to chalk out a mutually agreeable course for release of funds under Public Sector Development Programme during the remaining period of the current year.
He has asked Planning and Development Division to monitor the utilization of available resources and the pace of the implementation without the money getting stuck in the projects where implementation is slow for any reason.
The Prime Minister said demand and allocation for funds should be based on the priority assigned on sectoral basis without compromising the key principle of regional equity that was agreed at the time of formulation of PSDP.
