He was addressing the inauguration ceremony of United Nations Information Centre in Islamabad on Thursday.
The Minister said Pakistan is working with the United Nations for peace and has sent its contingents in the UN peace missions in twenty-three countries.
The Minister said it is the policy of the Government to promote independent and responsible media and dissemination of information to the people.
