Pakistan is moving on development of road:PM Nawaz Sharif


LAHORE:(APS)July 12, 2016-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif says his government has put the country on track to attain durable peace, sustainable economic growth and massive infrastructure development.

He was talking to a delegation of Abu Dhabi Group of United Arab Emirates led by its Chairman Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan in Lahore today.

The Prime Minister said we are satisfied with the successes of Operation Zarb-e-Azb launched to wipe out terrorism from the country.

He said operation in Karachi which was launched with consultation of all the stake holders has helped in restoration of peace in the city.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said the government has managed to ensure uninterrupted power supply to industrial sector and remove curse of load-shedding from the country by 2018.

He said transparent LNG agreements will remove gas shortage from the country by next year.

Nawaz Sharif said thirteen motorways are under construction in different areas of the country at a cost of 900 billion rupees.

He said he is personally overseeing progress of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project which will connect the entire region through road networks and railways tracks.

He said on completion, CPEC will change lives of millions of people living in the region.

Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak al Nahyan felicitated Prime Minister on his health recovery. He said  under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan has made significant development during the last three years.

Earlier, Minister for Culture and Social Development of United Arab Emirates Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore today.

Talking to him, the Chief Minister said Pakistan and UAE are tied in strong brotherly relations.

He said cooperation of the UAE with Pakistan in different social sectors is encouraging and appreciable.
