WASHINGTON:(APS)Oct4,2015-Pakistan’s ambassador to United States says Pak-US relations would grow further by the upcoming visit of Prime Minister to the United States.
Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States Jalil Abbas Jilani has said the ties between Pakistan and the United States are now much stable as compared to the past.
He was addressing the second Convention of Pakistani-American Community in Washington.
He said that these relations would grow further by the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to the United States later this month.
Jalil Abbas Jilani said the United States is helping Pakistan in war on terror by providing necessary precision strike technology as well as in the rehabilitation of displaced people from FATA.
He informed the participants about the Operation Zarb-e-Azb and multiple steps being taken by the government to improve security situation in the country.
The Ambassador said over ninety percent of the areas previously used as safe havens in
North Waziristan have been cleared. He said that command and control infrastructure of the terrorists has also been destroyed completely.
