ISLAMABAD: (APS)MAY 6,2016 – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan stated on Friday that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif is paying visit to different cities instead of answering the questions that rose as a result of the Panama Leaks, reported APS News.

Reacting to PM Nawaz’s public address in Sukkur, Khan stated that the PM needs to explain how he sent the money outside the country, adding that if the Prime Minister will not pay taxes then no one will. He inquired that “what did the sit-in (in Islamabad) had to do with (hindering) the country’s prosperity?”. He stated that protests are a right granted in a democratic setup and criticised the PM over comparing it with terrorism.

Khan added that the government is there for curtailing the culprits, not for blackmailing. “The Prime Ministers of democratic states resigned (after the onset of the Panama Leaks)” he said. He stated that PTI can head towards the PM’s residence at Raiwind and arrange a sit-in there as the PM is not a dictator like Egypt’s Hosnni Mubarak or Iraq’s Saddaq Hussain who should be feared. He said that the PM will try to bribe the opposition parties and added that he himself can also be accounted along with the Prime Minister if investigation is based upon the Terms of References (TORs) formulated by the opposition parties.

Khan lambasted Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman and inquired “How did Maulana saab ended up in the movement catering to providing safety to the corrupt ones?” Referring to Akram Durrani’s comments, Khan said that he awaits his arrival at his Bani Gala residence.

He stated that mistreatment will not be carried out with women in the party’s upcoming rallies, adding the report regarding the incidents occurring during the rallies held in Islamabad and Lahore will be compiled till tomorrow. He added that preparations will be done till May 20 in order to organise rallies in a way to keep the women cordoned. He stated that emphasis is being laid upon the improvements of the education and the health sector in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
