NAB authorizes two probes against Raja Pervez Ashraf

ISLAMABAD:(APS)Dec 3,2015-National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has authorized two investigations against former Minister for Power Raja Pervez Ashraf and others for alleged corrupt practices in award of two Rental Power Projects.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the NAB Executive Board in Islamabad on Thursday.

The meeting chaired by Chairman NAB Qamar Zaman Chaudhry also authorized inquiry against Punjab Minister for Sports Rana Mashood Ahmed Khan and others for alleged corruption and misuse of authority in holding sports festival.

It also authorized inquiry against officers of CDA and others for selling commercial plots without open auction.
