KARACHI:(APS) July 29, 2016- Syed Murad Ali Shah has been elected as new Chief Minister of Sindh.Syed Murad Ali Shah of PPP obtained 88 votes while his opponent Khurram Sher Zaman of PTI bagged only three votes.

Opposition party MQM did not take part in the election whereas Pakistan Muslim League Functional and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz decided to remain neutral.

 

Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reform Ahsan Iqbal congratulated the new CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah.

 

In a tweet message, the Minister said he is looking forward to work with him for development of Sindh.
