ISLAMABAD :(APS) August 23, 2016-– Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan stated on Tuesday that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief was responsible for the devastation of the city of lights (Karachi), further adding that key personalities in the city were killed one by one, reported APS News.
While addressing a press conference, Khan stated that apology should be sought if an unfortunate incident occured only once, adding that the MQM chief had a complete history regarding repeating the same offence. He stated that the Muttahida chief spoke against Pakistan on Indian soil, further stating that MQM chief flew to India on the invitation of Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
Imran Khan stated that the British government assured to take action against MQM chief but took no measures later on. He enquired that why was the British government not taking any action against its citizen who was involved in committing target killing in Karachi since the past two decades. Imran said that Karachi was progressing rapidly in the 80s.
“Those who destroyed the peace of Karachi committed the murder of policemen one after the other after the operation done in the city by (Major General) Naseerullah Babar,” Khan said, further adding that Muttahida chief was responsible for Karachi’s devastation.
Khan said that a media outlet was attacked on Monday on the orders of someone sitting abroad, enquiring that which country would tolerate such actions being committed on the orders of a foreign national. He said that MQM chief was responsible for bringing terrorism in the country.
He stated that the children of the mohajir community had great affection towards Pakistan, further demanding that action should be taken against the MQM’s militant wings. He added that the tone being used by MQM chief in his speeches was not used anywhere in the world.
While conversing about the Panama Leaks issue, Khan said that a resolution shall be moved in the Khyber Pakhtukhwa (KP) Assembly against no action being taken over the issue, adding that the party shall head to the Supreme Court (SC) after making this move.
He stated that the sea of people shall head towards Lahore on September 3. PTI Chairman stated that he did not have any post but he did not know why the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) was barring him from carrying out procession in public rally in Jhelum.
