Law and order has improved significantly as a result of concerted efforts: Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan

ISLAMABAD:(APS)April 25, 2017-Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan says law and order situation has improved significantly during recent years as a result of concerted efforts by all stakeholders including the civilian governments, the armed forces, police, and intelligence agencies.

Addressing participants of 106th National Management Course in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said that our fight against terrorism has indeed been a success story.

The Minister said that the fencing of the western border with effective surveillance mechanism will help checking illegal cross border movement of unwanted elements.

He said as servants of the state, it is duty of every civil servant to serve as guardian of the law and to do his utmost to be balanced, unbiased and accommodative while serving the public.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has approved Standard Operating Procedure for the arrival and departure of foreign delegations who come to Pakistan for hunting purposes.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the newly approved SOPs demand arrival of the staff of foreign delegations to the concerned departments by the Ministry of foreign affairs one week prior to their landing in Pakistan.

SOP’s also call for identification of landing points of  foreign flights arriving in Pakistan for hunting purposes.

The statement said having valid visa is must for every foreigner, who wants to enter Pakistan.
