Journalist’s nephew killed due to non-payment of ransom


RAWALPINDI:(APS) Nov 22,2015-Kidnappers in Rawalpindi on Sunday killed a minor on not receiving extortion money.

According to police, body of 13-year-old Mohsin Nephew of Babar Mughal Journalist and chief editor of daily Supreme was found from graveyard located in the jurisdiction of Dhok Kala Khan police station in Sadiqabad.

Ahsan was kidnapped a day before by some unidentified men who demanded Rs80 lac from his parents.

When the family failed to arrange the money, the culprits murdered the boy and threw his dead body in the graveyard.

Police recovered the body and shifted it to district headquarter hospital.

A probe has also been initiated in the incident. Residents protested on Islamabad Expressway due to which the traffic was suspended.

Babar Mughal said that we had reported to the police. However, police is not take prompt action.

If the police take action immediately  then it was possible to save my nephew’s life

He said that my nephew’s death is the result of police negligence.

Rawalpindi and Islamabad journalists has demanded from Prime Minister, Interior Minister Punjab Chief Minister that killers be arrested immediately .
