KARACHI: (APS)FEB 8,2016 – Pakistan International Airline (PIA) Joint Action Committee has on Monday made a new offer to the government, demanding Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif to nominate Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif or Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan for the talks if PM is not available, reported APS News.
The new offer was made during the sit-in held at Karachi PIA Head Office. Committee Chairman Suhail Baloch said that the committee wasn’t blackmailing the government and was ready for talks. He said that PM could nominate Shahbaz Sharif or Chaudhry Nisar for talks if he wasn’t available.
Suhail Baloch said that the employees were aware of the problems faced by the passengers due to the suspension of the flight operations and the issue would soon be resolved. He also announced provision of the services to the Umrah pilgrims. He told that the arrested PIA employees were later released late night at Naagin Chorangi.
