Issued a code of conduct for the National Press Club Elections

ISLAMABAD:(APS)Dec 23,2015- The NPC Election Committee has issued a code of conduct for the National Press Club Elections 2015-16 in meeting that met here Wednesday. Chairman Nasir Zaidi presided over the meeting while members who attended the meeting are: Iqbal Jafri, Munawar Naqvi, Ch. Ahsan Premee, Nasir Mir.

The Committee has announced that a panel or an independent candidate will be allowed to affix only 6 posters, banners or panaflex in the limits of National Press Club in Islamabad and 4 6 posters, banners or panaflex in the limits of Rawalpindi Camp Office. The posters, banners or panaflex affixed in excess will be liable to be removed. NPC boundary wall in Islamabad and “15” to Press Club Camp Office will be considered for Rawalpindi for this purpose.

The Committee has warned the candidates taking part in elections under the code of conduct of the Committee that they will be allowed to affix only 6 posters, banners or panaflex in the limits of National Press Club in Islamabad and 4 in the limits of Rawalpindi Camp Office. The size of the poster, pamphlet and leaflet would be A4.

Moreover, the Committee will receive the nomination papers till December 25, 2015 till 8.00 p.m.  The Chairman of the Committee has made it clear that all candidates are bound to follow the code of conduct otherwise the Committee reserves the right to take disciplinary action against the violators.
