ISLAMABAD: (APS) – Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has said that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan will continue to hurl allegations even after court decisions. “What guarantees that Imran Khan will accept the decision given by the judicial commission”, asked Rashid.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Pervaiz Rashid said that Imran Khan was continuously making ‘baseless and made-up’ allegations. He said that the four constituencies were already open when Imran Khan was demanding to open them. He said that Imran Khan was told by the tribunal to appear before it as four months had already passed. Pervaiz Rashid alleged that Imran Khan didn’t appear before the court for 4 months which caused the delay. He said that Imran Khan caused 8-month delay in tribunal’s proceedings.
“Imran Khan only accepts the justice that is meted out by Chairman PTI himself”, he said. Pervaiz Rashid said that there is no guarantee that Imran Khan will not be protesting against the judicial commission if it declared the elections as free and fair. He said that Imran Khan applauds the court decision initially but starts criticizing after understanding it. “He expressed gratitude over NA-122 tribunal decision and then moved to court against it”, he said.
Responding to the allegations by Imran Khan, Pervaiz Rashid said that Imran Khan made baseless allegations about Ramzan Sugar Mills. “Imran Khan has a problem with everything made for the public”, he said. “Imran Khan’s politics revolves around criticizing the construction of roads, hospitals and colleges”, said Rashid.
Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader said that Imran opposed the bridges made for the public. He told that the people of Chiniot were facing problems because there was no bridge there, and that was why a bridge was made there.
