ISLAMABAD:(APS) October 27, 2016-Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui has ordered the district administration of Islamabad that the Imran Khan rally should manage in Parade Avenue and to be ensure they keep limited there.
Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday has issued restraining orders to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) from locking down Islamabad on November 2.
Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui heard the petitions filed against PTI‘s call for Islamabad shut down.
During the hearing, it was asked by the party chief Imran Khan that according to which law he is paralyzing Islamabad on November 2.
No educational institution will be closed while no container will be placed on the roads on November 2, the court ordered.
It was also decided that fundamental rights of common man cannot be compromised in the name of protest. The order said it is the right of political party to register protest but nobody could be allowed to siege the city.
The court issued notice to PTI Chairman Imran Khan to appear before it on Monday.
IHC had also summoned Secretary Home Minister and Inspector General Islamabad to discuss strategy regarding PTI protest.
