ISLAMABAD:(APS)FEB 8,2016-Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid says PML (N) government is working to find a solution to the longstanding issue of Kashmir.
He was addressing a convention of Muslim League workers at Palundari in Azad Kashmir this afternoon.
The Minister paid tributes to people of Azad Kashmir for their role in the liberation struggle of Kashmir. He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is pursuing a path that would lead to durable settlement of the dispute.
He said a conspiracy is being hatched by the incumbent Government in Azad Kashmir to steal next elections by having Election Commission of its choice but AJK Supreme Courts has foiled their designs.
The Minister announced establishment of a University at Pulandari.
On this occasion, Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Barjees Tahir says Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has provided unprecedented funds for development of Azad Kashmir.
He said despite poor performance of AJK Government, Federal Government extended full cooperation to it.
Addressing the convention, Special Assistant to Prime Minister, Dr. Asif Kirmani said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif effectively raised Kashmir dispute at international fora.
