Muzaffarabad:(APS) August 6,2016-The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet in its first informal meeting called upon international community including United Nations to use its influences to stop state terrorism by Indian forces in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The AJK Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan presided over the meeting in Muzaffarabad on Saturday.
The AJK Cabinet adopted various resolutions urging civilized world to play its effective role in resolving longstanding Kashmir issue, which is posing serious threat to peace in the region.
AJK Cabinet in its resolution strongly condemned the imposition of curfew, illegal arrest of Hurriyat leaders and use of pallet guns on the innocent Kashmiris and termed it a sheer violation of UN charter.
In another resolution, AJK cabinet paid rich tribute to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for adopting unequivocal stance over Kashmir and effectively highlighting the Kashmir issue at national and international fora.
AJK Cabinet expressed complete solidarity with the people of Occupied Kashmir struggling for their internationally recognized right to self-determination and assured that people and government of Pakistan and AJK would never leave their brethren alone in their just struggle.
Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister of Pakistan for taking keen interest in the development of the liberated territory, cabinet through its resolution expressed full confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.
AJK Cabinet also expressed confidence on AJK Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan and expressed resolve that under his leadership AJK would be turned into a developed and prosperous state.
In another resolution, cabinet expressed its gratitude to Chief Election Commissioner, Interior Ministry, Pakistan Army, NADRA, and the state administration for conducting free, fair and transparent general elections in the state.
