KARACHI (APS News) – Director General (DG) Rangers Sindh Major General Bilal Akbar met Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah today (Friday) in CM House Karachi, APS News reported.
DG Rangers briefed CM Sindh about the ongoing targeted operation and implementation on the decisions of apex committee.
According to sources, detailed discussion was also held on the arrest of Dr Asim.
Dr Asim Hussain, who is facing different corruption cases, had served as a federal minister for petroleum during Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) tenure. He was arrested two days before and was later remanded in Rangers custody for 90 days.
Currently, he is working as the Chairman of Higher Commission of Pakistan in Sindh.
