ISLAMABAD:(APS)MAY 13,2016-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said all weather Pak-China relationship is based on shared principles and interests.
He was talking to a Chinese delegation headed by the deputy administrator of China Airospace Science and Industry Corporation wei Yiyin in Islamabad on Friday.
The Prime Minister said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project reflect deep-rooted relations between the two countries.
He said the project has potential to change lives of people of the entire region for which the government and people of Pakistan are grateful to the Chinese leadership and people.
The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction at the level of bilateral cooperation in the defence technology and defence production.
He appreciated China’s extraordinary assistance in defence productiona and aerospace, which helped Pakistan in construction of a whole range of heavy industries.
The Prime Minister said the decision for induction of Air Defence System in Pakistan by China Precision Machinery Import and Export Corporation would be finalized after receipt of complete proposal from the Chinese side.
The leader of the Chinese delegation lauded Nawaz Sharif’s vision for putting country on development path and turning around the economy.
He said the CPEC would bring people of two countries even more closer besides generating economic activities for prosperity of the regional countries.
The delegation also expressed keen interest in making investment in gas pipelines in various areas especially Balochistan.
Meanwhile, President and Chairman of the Board of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Friday.
They discussed issues of mutual interests between the two brotherly countries.
