ISLAMABAD:(APS)November 4, 2016-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif says people of Pakistan would frustrate designs of those trying to block the wheel of development.
He was addressing a public meeting at Narh in Kahuta tehsil on Friday afternoon.
The Prime Minister said PML (N) always pursued the politics of development and safeguarding national interests and it would continue to pursue this path vigorously. He said credit goes to PML (N) for building motorways, boosting defence, carrying out nuclear explosions and upholding the cause of Kashmiri people. He said Pakistan would continue to speak for Kashmiris the same way he did during his address to the UN General Assembly.
Nawaz Sharif said his political opponents cannot digest all-round development in the country and want to halt this process. He said Pakistan is proceeding ahead on the path of development and prosperity but some elements want to push the country back.
The Prime Minister said people of Pakistan are civilized and those calling names and indulging in mud-slinging cannot be their leaders.
He said his opponents fear that on the basis of its performance people would against vote for PML (N) in 2018 elections and that is why they are indulging in negative politics.
The Prime Minister referred to the CPEC and said it would not only help increase trade between Pakistan and China and development of Gwadar Port but also bring prosperity to the entire region.
He said the Government is working on all fronts to resolve problems of people and spending billions of rupees for welfare of the youth.
The Prime Minister announced provision of gas and electricity to all union councils of Kahuta and Kallar Syedan tehsils.
He said Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Kahuta would turned into a state of the art facility.
Nawaz Sharif announced upgradation of twelve schools of the tehsil into higher secondary schools.
He also announced provision of funds for building 100 kilometers roads in Kahuta and Kallar Syedan tehsils and an overhead bridge on Rawalpindi-Kahuta Road at Sihala.
The Prime Minister appreciated natural beauty of Narh and said it needs to be developed to attract tourists.
Chairman PML (N) Raja Zafar-ul-Haq said Nawaz Sharif believes in politics of decency. He regretted that some people are criticizing CPEC despite the fact that it would benefit people of Pakistan immensely.
Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said people of Pakistan have reposed confidence in PML (N) because of its developmental agenda. He said PML (N) achieved successes in three years which previous governments could not in fifteen years.
Punjab Minister Raja Ashfaq Sarwar said the present Government is resolving problems of farmers and working hard to overcome the shortage of electricity.
