Pakistan greatly values fraternal ties with Iran: PM


ISLAMABAD:(APS)March 21, 2016-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said Pakistan greatly values its fraternal ties with Iran and considers it a close friend and a neighbor.

He was talking to Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Honardoost in Islamabad today.

The Prime Minister said he is looking forward to welcoming President Rouhani later this week. The Prime Minister said the visit would be a great opportunity for us to review the whole range of bilateral relations.

He said we are focused to implement our agenda of achieving regional connectivity for enhanced trade and business cooperation.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan is keen to explore all available business and trade opportunities with Iran.

Meanwhile, addressing the farewell reception in honor of the outgoing Ambassador of Argentine Rodolfo Martin J Sarawia in Islamabad, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif lauded the services and contribution made by him.

The Prime Minister said Rodolfo J Martin made untiring efforts to strengthen the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Argentine.
