ISLAMABAD: (APS) January 12, 2017– Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) President Asif Ali Zardari has on Thursday said that the federal government is damaging Pakistan’s economy upon foreign pressure, reported APS News.
In a statement, Zardari said that the federal government was playing with fire as removal of the subsidy on fertiliser might spark issues between the provinces. He said that the removal was an unjust and inhumane decision.
Zardari said that the decision was a conspiracy against the poor and the people living in villages. He said that the decision was bound to affect the agriculture sector and poverty would rise.
The former president said that the inter-provincial harmony will be affected by the decision. He added that PPPP stood in solidarity with the farmers across the country.
